overview
Amid concerns about a major earthquake in the Tonankai region, the continuation of fuel supply immediately after an earthquake is considered crucial. From a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) perspective, refineries and other facilities are required to be able to resume fuel supply as quickly as possible. While seismic reinforcement and the preparation of prefabricated piping are believed to have already been completed, if fuel piping is damaged by an earthquake, even using these prepared steel pipes, emergency measures are expected to take several weeks. However, using the hose-based fuel transfer system proposed by our company, fuel supply can be resumed in as little as one day.
