A hose retrieval device/hose reeler is a device that allows for the rapid deployment and retrieval of hoses.

Reeler (manual type)

This is a manually operated and movable type of reel.

Features

  • The reel has gears, allowing even heavy hoses to be wound up manually.
  • Hose length can be customized up to 50m.
  • The coupling can be stored in the center of the reel.

The type shown in the diagram below is a 12-inch (300mm) hose that can be wound up to 50m.

Reeler (electric, towable type)

This is a type of reeler that is towed by a trailer or similar vehicle.

Features

  • Because the reel is rotated by an engine, it is suitable for laying and retrieving large-diameter, long hoses.
  • On the rear left side of the reel unit, there is a lever for performing a series of operations necessary for laying and retrieving the line, such as unwinding/retracting, stopping, and raising/lowering the guide bar.
  • The hose cassette can be removed from the trailer and stored separately for replacement.

The type shown in the diagram below allows for the simultaneous installation of two 12-inch (300mm) hoses.

FETCH (Fetch) Independent Type

This unit is mounted on a truck, and the hose is retrieved from the side of the vehicle.

Features

  • The hose diameter can accommodate up to 150mm (6 inches).
  • Driven by a hydraulic pump.
  • It can be powered by the truck's engine (power takeoff).
  • During installation, the hose can be lowered from the rear of the truck without going through a retrieval device, allowing for quick work.
  • Even heavy hoses before draining the water can be quickly retrieved while the hose coupling is still attached.

FETCHHose container integrated type

This unit is designed to be mounted (integrated) onto a truck and is primarily suitable for retrieving hoses of 8 inches or larger.

Features

  • We can also propose a FETCH unit (drive unit and arm) only (container section not included).
  • The FETCH unit can move left and right, allowing for smooth hose retrieval.
  • Because rollers are attached to the part of the rear of the container that contacts the ground, smooth container attachment and detachment operations are possible.
When not in use, the arm is held on top of the container.
