Coupling (connecting fitting)

This connection method, also used in piping, is suitable for stable, long-term transportation. When using seawater, stainless steel (SUS304 is not suitable; SUS316 or higher) is recommended.

Victaulic coupling (300mm)

Similar to Vittorix couplings, this connection method is also used in piping and is suitable for stable, long-term transportation.
Because flange fittings typically require rotating the entire hose to align the threaded holes, we recommend swivel-type fittings (fittings where the flange at the end rotates freely). Both ANSI and JIS flanges are compatible.

Flange-type fitting/swivel (rotatable, 12")

The couplings can be easily connected by combining and rotating them. For hoses with a large diameter, a swivel type (rotating joint) is recommended.
The anodized aluminum alloy coupling can be rinsed with water after use and can be used in seawater for short periods of time.
Furthermore, the large-capacity foam water cannon systems at large-scale oil storage bases use unanodized aluminum couplings for use with seawater. Water rinsing is required after use.
