Plant disaster prevention system design
We thoroughly examine customer specifications and applicable domestic and international laws and standards, conduct a disaster risk analysis of the entire plant based on our engineering expertise, and then create specifications that serve as the design standards for fire prevention and extinguishing systems. Health assessment of the main water supply network for firefighting
After creating and updating a comprehensive diagram of the fire extinguishing network for the entire factory, we will perform pressure loss calculations for each fire scenario.
The calculations take into account not only domestic fire safety regulations but also the stricter NFPA standards, considering the effects of aging deterioration, and verify whether the required amount of water is being supplied at sufficient pressure and whether the load ratio of each pump is appropriate.
Furthermore, we will provide concrete improvement proposals, such as pipe replacement and pressure regulating valve installation, and handle everything from implementation to recalculation after the improvements are made.
Examples of work achievements
- Created and updated the overall layout diagram of the main water supply network for firefighting.
- We performed pressure loss calculations considering age-related deterioration for an oil refinery that was several decades old, and proposed improvement plans. We also performed pressure loss calculations after the improvements were made (we have a proven track record of numerous similar projects for refineries).
Fire piping hydraulic calculation
We use specialized software to calculate pressure loss for foam fire extinguishing systems, water spray/spray fire extinguishing systems, sprinkler systems, and other similar systems.

- We performed calculations for a grid-type piping system for a sprinkler system in a warehouse.
- Calculations were performed for the water spraying system targeting multiple pieces of equipment in the process area.
